2026 Texas Pedestrian Safety Forum

Registration is now open!

The forum will be held on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, at the AT&T Center in Austin (1900 University Avenue). Please note that this year, attendance will be capped at 200 people. Due to the attendance limit, we will send an email asking you to confirm your registration in April. If you do not confirm, your spot will be released. There will be no on-site registration this year.

2026 Texas Pedestrian Safety Forum – May 6 in Austin

This year’s Texas Pedestrian Safety Forum will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at the AT&T Center in Austin Texas.

Registration will open in early March.

Space is limited and there will be no onsite registration this year, so register early!

Final Report for the Texas Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Assessment

We are very excited to present the final report for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program Technical Assessment conducted by NHTSA on behalf of TxDOT. Several of the members of the Texas Pedestrian Safety Coalition as well as countless stakeholders, advocates, and transportation professionals throughout the State of Texas contributed significant time and effort to ensure the success of this effort. On behalf of TxDOT and the State of Texas, we are extremely grateful for your contributions!

We will discuss the future steps that TxDOT and the Texas Pedestrian Safety Coalition will be taking to implement the recommendations that have been provided within this document at our next TPSC meeting in November (save the date coming soon!).
